A day after the Twitter drama
If you happen to missed the news, where Charlie Villanueva and Austin Daye of Detriot Pistons vent their opinions about how they feel and how frustrating things had been about their team, the Pistons cruised past the Philadelphia Sixers in a 124-103 victory the day after.
It was also reported this morning that Daye and Villanueva were minutes late for the team flight and had to take the commercial flight to catch the game at Philadelphia. The two Pistons came off the bench on fire especially in the third quarter where they helped the team pulled away. Charlie Villanueva scored a game high 25 points while Austin Daye had 9 points and 9 rebounds. Ben Wallace added a season-high 18 points.
The Pistons, who will miss the playoffs for the first time after seven straight playoff appearances, snapped an 11-game losing streak and have tied Washington Wizards record at 24-53.
